Hey there, music fan! We get it—sometimes that limited-edition vinyl or vintage tour tee doesn’t fit quite right, or maybe it arrived different than you expected. At Hello Merch Shop, we’re committed to making things right for our community of independent music lovers. Your satisfaction means everything to us, just like it does to the artists we support.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of you receiving your item. To be eligible, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition you received them. Your item must include the original receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note: Due to the nature of our products and our direct support of artists, vinyl records, digital downloads, and any items marked as “final sale” or “limited edition” are final purchases and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective. This helps ensure we can continue supporting amazing artists from A Dead Forest Index to Andy Allo and everyone in between.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to start your return or exchange process:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your order number and details about the product you would like to return or exchange.
  2. Our team of real humans (and fellow music nerds) will respond within 2 business days with instructions and a return authorization.
  3. Ship your item to our fulfillment center at:

  4. Please include your name, order number, and reason for return inside the package.
  5. Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you about the approval or status of your refund or exchange.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or we made an error in your order. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we can’t guarantee we’ll receive your returned item.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll send you an email to notify you we’ve received your returned item. We’ll also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days. Depending on your card issuer’s policies, you may see the refund in your account within 5-10 business days after we process it.

Important: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. For exchanges, we’ll cover the shipping costs to send your replacement item to you.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrived damaged or defective, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damaged product and packaging. We’ll ship a replacement to you as soon as possible at no additional cost.
